Greenparent | Home Ed Boot Camp Week

Not totally sure what this week is bringing. We have my seven year old away and she ?s one of those kids who is just fun to homeschool, she wants to do everything and anything and her enthusiasm is infectious. Will be a different dynamic but I?m also looking forward to time with the others.

So I have my nine year old, who is now quite self reliant with regard to the schooling: he gets a list of work at the start of the week and works through it at his own pace, coming to find us and/or scheduling time if he needs help, and my youngest, who at not quite 5 I wouldn?t consider to be homeschooled. It?ll be nice to spend time with her doing the sitting down reading and drawing stuff she loves but gets a bit shortchanged out of.

I have an enormous amount of OU work this week (just one of those weeks when everything co-incides) so I think my task this week is to organise myself well enough that I can enjoy a week with just the big and little one and make sure I wait til they are in bed to do the work. (it is crazy that I am seeing studying as a tempation -during my first degree I promise that was never an issue!)

What I?m going to be looking for is fun arty type projects for my 4 year old. I usually find something nice on the crafty crow but I?m not seeing anything really inspiring there right now. Can?t for the life of me remember back to what I did with the others when they were 4?
