Advertising agency Campbell Ewald is set to move its headquarters to downtown Detroit.
Detroit Mayor Dave Bing will hold a press conference Wednesday afternoon to make the formal announcement.
ClickOnDetroit.com will be live streaming the event at 1:45 p.m.
Campbell Ewald?s move from its current headquarters in Warren to the site of the old J.L. Hudson warehouse -- which is adjacent for Ford Field -- is expected to bring hundreds of jobs.
The company had been in Warren since 1978 and Warren Mayor Jim Fouts told Local 4 he?s disappointed to be losing the company?s presence.
"I think what we're going to have to do is mount an aggressive campaign to try to get someone to occupy that building if in fact it [Campbell Ewald] does leave," Fouts said. "I believe we have some compelling reasons to come to Warren."
Campbell Ewald has represented clients such as the University of Michigan, Motor City Casino, Consumers Energy, GM, Chevrolet, the United States Mint and AT&T.
