Title: Director IT Financial Operations Location: Corporate Services -- Lake Success Other Locations: Plans, organizes and directs the IT financial and procurement teams within the Office of the CIO and provides overall financial management for OCIO operations. Responsible for creating, tracking and reporting on OCIO operating and capital budgets, as well as preparing budget presentations and multi-year projections for all levels of management. Oversees department procurement activities with financial reporting and develops and implements policies and procedures to track Health System technology assets. Identifies opportunities to increase efficiencies and savings in operations and ensures department financial operating goals are achieved. 1. Prepares and manages department operating and capital budgets including providing variance analysis and rolling forecasts. 2. Prepares annual and monthly financial and budget presentations. 3. Directs department procurement operations. 4. Coordinates administration of procurement activities with OCIO financial reporting, budgeting, IT financial planning, asset management. 5. Oversees asset management reporting and reconciliation process. 6. Manages outsourcing payment and reporting operations and tracking of service level agreements. 7. Manages vendor payments including validation of invoices, invoice payment processing, and service renewals, cancellations and vendor correspondence. 8. Oversee administration and financial management of desktop/server/data storage refresh programs and ASP provider relationships. 9. Assists third party providers and suppliers in resolving invoicing and accounts payable issues. 10. Builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations. 11. Prepares presentations, financial tables and other business documents, as necessary. 12. Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; and oversees the selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports. * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field, required. Master's Degree preferred. * Minimum of seven (7) years related, progressive finance experience including staff leadership, creating departmental budgets and budget presentations and managing IT finances and procurement operations. * Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and strong familiarity with other MS Office applications, required.
